I am an IT Consultant wearing many hats. I have worked as an Architect, Programmer, Software/Web Developer, DBA, Network Engineer and Graphic Designer working with Photoshop & Flash. My focus has mainly been with Microsoft Technologies such as VB.NET, Classic ASP, ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server & SharePoint. I also have experience with the latest web technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, CSS, DHTML, XHTML and HTML 5.
I enjoy reading about the latest technologies and I'm always brainstorming business ideas related to those new technologies. Lately, I have had my eyes on WiMAX which already is making an impact all over the world by providing high-speed wireless broadband to the "last mile" for consumers. I am also interested in new technologies for streaming video, specifically live video.. such as Live Smooth Streaming by Microsoft. I see this taking off very quickly once it is established.
Apart from all the geeky stuff, I also enjoy sports. My favorite sport is college football and my favorite team is The University of Alabama Crimson Tide (where I went to undergrad). Congrats to the team for winning their 13th National Championship in 2009! ROLL TIDE!
